Process for Participating in ‘Azadi Ka Utsav – Season 2:
- Read the process / rules & regulations thoroughly before you apply.
- Go to application link and fill application form online
- Upload participant photo (mandatory)
- Submit Form
- Form navigates you to payment screen
- Complete payment of joining fees and submit form
- Contestant will receive the Registration Number immediately through WhatsApp and Email. Please quote this registration number for all future correspondences.
- Within 48 working hours will receive the links from Kala Quest for submitting artwork / video through WhatsApp.
- Group ‘A’ & ‘B’ participants for art will also receive a separate link to download outline diagrams. Each group will have 3 outline diagrams. Contestant has to choose any one, take a print in A4 paper, fill in the colour, scan (jpeg. Or pdf) and upload in the upload link provided.
- The submissions should be in the following format
- Artwork – Scan (PDF or Jpeg)
- Music (Solo Singing) – Video recording of max 2 min
- Dance – Video recording of max 2-3 min
- Mono Acting – Video recording of max 3 min
- All contestants have to submit their artwork / video on or before the last day of submission
- Artwork / video will be accepted only in digital format.
- Only one artwork / video will be accepted per contestant (in case of multiple artwork / videos submitted – only the first submission will be considered)
- For Participants in Art: All contestants should prominently mention their registration number at top right of their artwork
- For Participants in Music, Dance & Mono Acting: The video file name should be your name and registration number (e.g. if your name is Sunil Gupta and your registration number is 260801B28QXFPK9G then the file name should be SUNILGUPTA_ 260801B28QXFPK9G).
- Kala Quest will not be responsible if the artwork / video is not submitted within the stipulated time.
- Withdrawal of application is not permitted
- Joining Fees
- ₹ 500/- per contestant for any one (Art, Song, Dance & Mono Acting)
- ₹ 900/- per contestant for any two (Art, Song, Dance & Mono Acting)
- ₹ 1,250/- per contestant for any three (Art, Song, Dance & Mono Acting)
- ₹ 1,600/- per contestant for all four (Art, Song, Dance & Mono Acting)
General Information, Rules & Regulations for Contestants:
- Who can participate: Children between the age of 03 to 17 years are eligible to participate in the competition
- Eligibility for Participation: Only those contestants who have paid their joining fees and submitted the filled in application form are eligible to participate.
- Mode of Submission: All contestants must upload their artwork (either jpeg or pdf) / video in the digital form only
- Artwork Size: The artwork must be between a minimum of A4 size to a maximum of full imperial. Contestants of group A (03 to 06 years) and group B (07 to 10 years) has to take the printout of any of the given outline picture in a A4 paper and send back after filling colours.
- Song: Contestants are free to choose any patriotic song in any language. The maximum length of the video should be 2 minutes, however, at least one mukhda and one antara has to be sung. The contestants are free to record the song with or without accompanying music / karaoke
- Dance: Contestants are free to choose any Indian dance form for in any subject though a patriotic touch will be always appreciated. The maximum length of the video should be 3 minutes. The dance is to be recorded along with the music / song on which the dance is performed (mute dance videos will not be accepted). The participants are free to use any type of porps.
- Mono Acting: Contestants are free to choose any subject / topic for their performance. The script may be borrowed from any published script / literature / movie / drama. The maximum length of the video should be 3 minutes. Vocal recording should be clearly audible. The participants are free to use any type of make up or porps.
- Medium to be Used:
- Art: Contestant can choose any medium and free to use Ivory Sheet, Cartridge Sheet or Canvas for surface (use of glitter or other decoration material not permitted)
- Song & Dance: The contestants can choose any patriotic song in any Indian language
- Mono Acting: The contestants can choose any Indian language
- Originality: The contestants should submit only original work for this competition. Any work that has been used to participate in any other similar competition should not be submitted. If identified, such contestant will be disqualified.
- Social Media / Digital Platform: The artwork / video shared for the competition should NOT be available in any social media platform or website and cannot be uploaded in any social media platform or website or in any digital or print space before the final result of the competition is declared.
- Number of Artwork / video: Each contestant can submit only one artwork / video per contest per registration
- Following the Decorum: Use of vulgar, sexually explicit, violent images in the artwork / or such gestures during the recording of video is strictly prohibited
- Intellectual Property Rights: Contestants must ensure that they are not violating any intellectual property rights
- Ownership of Artwork / Video Submitted: Kala Quest will become the sole owners of the artwork / video submitted for the competition. Kala Quest reserves the right to use the complete or part of the artwork / video in their future campaign in both digital and print media.
- Parameters for Judgement: Judgment will be on the below parameters

- Prizes / certificates for all contestants:
- Top 3 contestants (1st, 2nd & 3rd) Pan India in each group – gets a prize and certificate
- All other contestants will get a certificate of participation
- Decision of Judges: The decision of the judges will be final and binding on the contestants. No appeal is allowed against the judgement.
- Final Authority in Case of Dispute: In case of any dispute arising out of anything, the decision of Kala Quest will be full and final and will be binding on the contestant / outcome of the competition.
