Kala Quest was born out of love for art and culture, and one simple belief: every child who takes part deserves to feel proud. That is why every participant, not only the winners, receive a participation medal and a personalized certificate carrying their own photograph, couriered straight to their homes.
Kala Quest is privately funded by its founders. The modest participation fee collected from participants is transparently used for:
▪ Prizes that reward excellence (56%)
▪ Honorariums for our judges (33%)
▪ Logistics expense for prizes that is delivered at the participant doorstep (10%)
▪ Administrative Expenses (1%)
In a way every rupee that Kala Quest collects from the participants goes back into the ecosystem – fueling creativity, dignity, and opportunity.
